Sturdy, attractive, functional! Wrought iron and well constructed. Works well with a wood burning stove. looks nice sitting beside the stove.

Product ordered late in (winter) season, but used already. Pieces performed well except the brush; the bristles seem to be of very poor quality. I will look for a better (bristled) brush.
I loved the Early American motif of this fireplace accessories set, but I should have heeded some of the reviewers who complained about the brush. Mine is also sub-par; the bristles are full of soot and many of them are falling out. I have placed the rack in such a way as to obscure the view of the brush and am actively seeking a replacement. My husband and I have been contemplating a major purchase from Hayneedle, but now we are wary, as we would hate to have to return a very large piece of furniture.
